RIVER WATCH ALERT: UPDATED CREST FORECAST 20.1

UPDATE 12:00 NOON
The river is now forecast to crest at 20.1 feet at or about midnight Saturday.

This means:
  • There WILL be minor road flooding on Trail's End
  • There WILL be some water and most likely a temporary closure of Rt. 32 from the Upper Black Eddy Bridge and the Frenchtown Bridge

RIVER WATCH ALERT

The current rate of rise of the Delaware River is exceeding the forecase of the National Weather Service. We expect there to be light to moderate levels of water in the road on Rt. 32 in the vicintity of Berm Lane. Additionally, people living along Trails End will have water in the road. There is no forecast for flood levels at this time.

Christmas Breakfast With Santa

Come to the firehouse Sunday, December 14th, from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Meet Santa and hear live Christmas Music.

Incident: Motor Vehicle Accident

Station 47 was called in to assist Station 48 with a multi-vehicle accident with injuries on Rt. 32 (River Road) in the vicinity of the Frenchtown Bridge. Station 47 staff assisted at the scene of the accident and set up dual landing zones for two helicopters at Giving Pond park. Two patients were airlifted to the hospital.
